Sewa International Launches 4th Batch of Fellowship Program at Narmadalaya, Madhya Pradesh

Sewa International (https://www.sewainternational.org) inaugurated the 4th batch of its Fellowship Program with a vibrant 12-day immersive learning experience at Narmadalaya, Lepa, Madhya Pradesh (https://www.narmadalaya.org). The serene campus of Narmadalaya—an NGO dedicated to grassroots development—set the perfect tone for a program aimed at shaping future leaders of social change.

The inauguration began with an invocation to Maa Saraswati, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. Ms. Bharati Thakur, Secretary of Narmadalaya, warmly welcomed the participants and introduced the organization’s ongoing community initiatives.

Shri Shyam Parande, Secretary of Sewa International, addressed the fellows with an inspiring message on the true essence of service. He encouraged students to draw strength from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and emphasized the foundational pillars of a service-oriented life—Tyaga (Sacrifice) and Sewa (Service). He reminded participants that meaningful social transformation begins with self-transformation.

Shri Rakesh Mittal, Treasurer of Sewa International, along with staff members from both organizations, graced the occasion and interacted with the fellows.

This year’s cohort includes 23 enthusiastic students from across India, each aspiring to contribute to nation-building. As the fellowship unfolds, participants will engage in hands-on learning, field exposure, and reflective sessions—preparing them to become catalysts of positive change in society.
