General Introduction
Nimar Abhyudaya Rural Management And Development Association (N.A.R.M.A.D.A.) is a humanitarian service mission inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
It was founded in October 2010 by Bharati Thakur after she completed Narmada Parikrama. Nimar Abhyudaya operates three schools, a technical institute (VIRT), and a hostel, all aimed at transforming rural and tribal lives in the Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh. What began as a dream now spreads hope, one village at a time.
Our Story
In 2005, Bharati Didi's Narmada Parikrama became a turning point in her life. Moved by the lack of education and healthcare in the villages she passed, she felt compelled to act. After her pilgrimage, she made a bold decision—leaving her job to settle in Mandleshwar, a serene town on the banks of Narmada.
There, Nimar Abhyudaya, the parent organization of VIRT, was born. Starting with free coaching classes under the name Narmadalaya, the initiative grew rapidly, expanding from one village to 15. With a generous land donation from Talwar Baba in Lepa Punarwas, the mission found a permanent home.
Today, Nimar Abhyudaya operates three schools, a technical institute (VIRT), and a hostel, all aimed at transforming rural and tribal lives in the Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh. What began as a dream now spreads hope, one village at a time. Join us on this inspiring journey!"
Our Board Members are the pillars of the institute, providing a strong foundation on which our vision is built. Their wisdom, experience, and foresight guide us forward, shaping the journey and amplifying our impact.
